Calendering is a cold metal deformation process obtained through the use of a specific machine called a calender. The calender is a machine tool made up of two or more rotating cylinders, in steel or cast iron, between which the material to be processed is passed; By setting the position of the rollers it is possible to deform the metal, until a closed cylinder or cones with dimensions equal to the diameter and length of the rollers used are made. In combination with the calendering of the sheets or profiles we have a tube bender that allows to obtain specific bending also with pipes of large diameters.
